Missing teeth

Okay, I admit it.  Alex has to take care of all the teeth pulling out encouragement (and the pulling when it comes to that). I can't even watch them wiggle it with their tongue without getting the heeby geebies (sp?).  He's up to four gone, I wish I would have taken more pictures when there was just three missing because every time I would look at him I thought he had a great resemblance to goofy, now he's back to my handsome man.

Looking out the window

This is the perfect example of why it's not as fun taking pictures any more, how do you keep your kids from doing this?  They get a kick out of jumping in front of the camera.
 Ryan escaping out the door.
When we moved into this house, Chio would look out this window at what was going on for hours, it was the cutest thing and I never got pictures of her doing it, so here is Ryan.  The difference is that chio was a little shorter so she would have to tiptoe and then kind of tip her head back you you would literally have two little hands and then just her eyeball showing.  It was cute.
And we had no screens then so you could see her better.

In the Kitchen Sink

I can't get over how much I love this kid!  I'm still washing him in the sink for multiple reasons. 1. If the baby is bathing in the sink I don't have children striping down and fighting to get in the tub with the baby (and tattling that the other gender flashed their parts) 2. I've remembered that is SUCKS kneeling down on the hard tiles and holding the baby for any amount of time. 3. It's Easy and quick. 4. it conserves water (I just added that one to make my list seem more reasonable but hey it's true).
As you can tell, I still have helpers, they're just clothed.
Combing the hairs :)

What a cutie

6 months: 18 lbs 9 ozs. 26 1/2 inches. Sits up perfect. No interest in crawling yet. Loves food, doesn't like nursing that much. Chio's his favorite person. 2 teeth. Likes to be tickled, plays rough. Almost never cries. Perfect.

Ace Animals

Ryan LOVES this game on grandma Diana's iPad, every time chio tries to do something else he freaks out.

Alex's first top tooth gone...

Moving

Ryan was so excited to start being more mobile. ( thank goodness he's still not crawling). Here he is getting into the shoes, I guess we'll have to find another place for them.

Family Pictures

I think this will be the picture that ends up on our self portrait wall for our ninth year of marriage.  We still fit pretty well, good thing our kids are small.

little alex took this picture, I'm holding Ryan too.

The many faces of Chio

First soccer game.
The only think I can think to write for this one is...I really hate roller-skates. sigh.
This is Chio dressing up as a "mommy".  I really would like to say she got the example from someone other than her own mother, but I'm afraid I would be lying.  Nice to get a glimpse into what others think of you, lol.
Doesn't she look like a little angel?
