You might have missed it because that picture was dark, see if you can see it in this picture.

A smiley face pin.
I might have preferred the T-shirt but, let me tell you, alex was thrilled; in fact, I forgot it (meaning I didn't know he would want it) for church and he was so awful during Sacrament meeting I had to carry him out while he hung limply in my arms. Right when we pulled into the parking lot he remembered it so I told him we would call daddy (he had to take a call this morning on no sleep so he was going to be late for church) and ask him to bring the smiley face pin. He was good for about 30 seconds...
The second reason I wish I was in their program is because Adam and Ciria get to participate. I didn't even get a pin to get me excited for all the documented reading I'm going to be doing; I know because alex asked and the lady flat out said "no". When alex gave his customary "Why?" she went into a 5 minuet shpill about the library having no money...for a two year old?....I was quite uncomfortable.

Was the shpill worth it or did alex not even care? I'll bet he could care less. Some people don't understand the importance they play in the lives of younger people.
Love ya all and am excited to see you.
I am sure that no matter what Alex and Chio will enjoy you reading to them. - I definitely think living where we do we are given a ton of wonderful opportunities for our children! Maybe you can enroll long distance for the Adult reading program. -Still have your Provo library card?
I love alex smiling and he's sooo sweet asleep. The important thing is that you read, and you would have even without the program.
I love you

Que creas...if you read to the kids in spanish the librarian might be moved to break the budget and give you a pin too! LOL!
What a great smile...alex reminds me so much of Alex at that age!
What a cutie!!!
