This video was taken about a month ago, but alex really hasn't gotten any better at crawling, he prefers to walk so he walks along things or he pushes something such as a laundry basket so that it will support him while he walks but not go too fast. Because of this I don't think that he is ever going to be one of those speed babies because he never pratices crawling. When we go to church and he plays with the other kids he usually just sits back and watches them so the parents come up to us and say "just you wail 'til he starts crawling, then you'll never be able to catch up with him" we just smile and nod then when he goes over to one of the kids and he stands up on them they look at us in amazement. We stopped telling people that he stands up all the time and he is just shy around strangers because it felt like bragging and no one really believed us any ways.
This video will give you an idea of how much longer we are going to have this camera because these are Alex's favorite movies to make and his favorite part is at the0.. end when the baby attacks the camera I hope that you like it.

oh my tik face! that was so wonderful to watch the little baby face crawling and slobering all over the camera! i loved it so much (and was so excited that i couldnt wait till i got home to see it) that i watches it TWICE right here in the middle of the science library! i figure that everyone needs a study break, and deep down, i know they appreciate the absolute-baby-wonderfulness of alex (and, you know, big Alex growly-saying "you-better-come-over-here" egging the little guy on). its a fact of life! alex is the cutest baby in the world! i cant wait to tease him, oh, i mean, play with him...hehehe...anyhow, i will see you later! love love!
Love it, there is no way to catch up to a fast crawler and then when he figures out his balance the catching will even be harder so enjoy it while you can.
