Shower Poems

My sister, who is not getting home from her mission and not in high school, is getting married!!! (Teandra) I'm so excited for her and there will be more on that when I come back from New Mexico with shower pictures. This blog is about the invitation poems that I wrote for her shower and my friends baby shower which I am quite proud of because it has been a while since I have written any thing besides a blog. So this is my brag blog...aren't I amazing and humble!

Here's Teda's poem:

Our princess is soon to be turning a Queen
and as you know she's a cooking fiend.
So a Pampered Chef Party is what we are throwing
to help her kitchen supply to get going
But if there's a gadget you can't live without,
a recipe or blender or seasonin' of trout,
just bring it along, and I'm sure she'll fell blessed,
to help move her cooking from "better to best."
So Mark, her beloved, will love his new wife
to whom he's entrusting the rest of his life.
But mostly we want to see your sweet smile
while we wish Teda luck 'fore she walks down the aisle.

Here's the baby shower poem:

If a gift you wish to bring
please remember this one thing,
as this is baby number three,
this simple thing we ask of thee;
most they have but a few they need
like diapers, wipes and books to read.
But most of all come say hello
and Jennifer Brunson get to know!

These are the cookies for the baby shower (I decided that decorating a cake would be too overwhelming with Chio so I took the easy road down cookie lane) and they turned out so cute I had to show someone.
